The new (2026) Solid Edge magnetic snap is a fantastic new tool to help you assemble assemblies much faster. With mates and aligns (planar or axial) being the most common assembly relationships, this tool allows you to have the software predict the a combination of these relationships in one go and hence give you a much improved performance.
Simply drag the part into the assembly window, select a face or edge and then drag it to its matching face or edge. You can also use it to place single relationships against one part and continue to snap other faces, as required. Use the F key once you are hovering over a face to Flip the part or R to rotate it 90 degrees.
