Solidification of Explosives

A short silent film showing the solidification of explosives and the growth of crystals under a microscope. The film shows the setting up of the apparatus, microscope and camera, before switching to show crystals appearing to grow as if the viewer were looking down the microscope. A computer image of an octahedron then can be seen slowly turning into a cube formation. There is an additional film excerpt attached to the end of the footage showing a computer model crystallographic structure.
