SolidWorks Variable Pitch Spring Tutorial | Sweep Feature Explained (#12)

In this video, I demonstrate how to model a variable diameter and variable pitch spring in SolidWorks. This type of spring has a complex shape, making it challenging to create using standard helix features. I also show a common issue when using the Sweep feature: the sweep fails if the wire diameter is larger than the gap between adjacent coils. Through testing different values (0.5 mm and 0.7 mm), you’ll see how the wire diameter affects the result and how to fix the problem. #SolidWorks #CADDesign #SolidWorksTutorial #MechanicalDesign #3DModeling
