one of my practice routines includes playing one chord (or maybe a couple) and seeing what I can play around it. That first little lick is a John Scofield lick I think (I learned if off YT), but I was so inspired by the lick that I wanted to keep jamming on this Cm9 chord infinitely! And I was so happy with the little world I found I thought I'd record and throw it up here. :)
