Matrix methods are used to solve a system of three simultaneous equations. The three methods used involve the adjoint of a matrix, the Gauss-Jordan method and Cramer's rule. Each approach has its benefits and limitations. This is the third and last of a set of three videos dealing with solving simultaneous equations involving 2 and 3 variables. Basic matrix operations involving multiplication, determinant and inverse are discussed in the first two videos.
