Hi, and welcome to this video on solving equations involving roots! Before we dive in, let’s review what a root is. The most common root you will see is a square root. The symbol for a square root is called a radical, and it looks like this: √. A square root asks the question, what number multiplied by itself (or squared) will give me the number under the radical?
