Solving Inequalities Using Multiplication or Division | 7.EE.B.4 π
In this video lesson we will apply the Properties of Inequality using Multiplication and Division. We will discover that when you multiply or divide both sides of an inequality by the same POSITIVE value the result is an equivalent inequality. We will learn that you need to REVERSE the direction of the inequality symbol when YOU multiply or divide an inequality by a NEGATIVE value. We will apply these properties of inequalities to solve inequalities. We will also graph the solutions of the inequalities. Student practice problems are modeled with exemplar solutions.
