Song about Nothing Christopher Robin-What I like best is just doing nothing Pooh-How do you do just nothing? C.R.- Well, it’s when grown-ups ask, “what are you going to do?” and you say “nothing”…and then you go out and do it Pooh- I like that, let’s do it all the time This is probably where this idea originally came from. My definition of nothing may have changed over the years, but it still feels the same. It’s what prompted the first line of the chorus for sure “Nothing is my favorite thing I’ve ever got to do”. After that I just started writing down phrases with “nothing” in them, and played around with them to see if they’d work. And I hadn’t written a real finger-picking song in a while, so I tried it out and it seemed to fit alright… Also trying to record through my new software instead of straight to the camera app on the phone…hopefully that will solve the weird one mono signal per stereo side issue I kept having…
