Chapter 2/3 Celeste, a self-centered soul with no malicious intent, lacked the empathy and understanding necessary to uphold her divine status, leading her to rebel and fall from grace. Stranded on Earth, Celeste's curiosity led her to take a leisurely stroll, eager to experience the world she had only heard about. As she observed humans, she couldn't help but notice their striking resemblance to her. The tales of their greatness and the notion of a utopian home planet filled her mind, fueling her intrigue even further. As Celeste stealthily observed from a narrow alleyway, her inadvertent collision with a small cardboard box startled a passing human. Holding her breath in fear, she soon realized that she was invisible to them, like a mere breeze. Utilizing this newfound advantage, she silently watched and studied the ways of human existence. Celeste spent the entire day observing humans, immersing herself in their activities, meals, and resting places. As dusk settled and the streets emptied, she pondered the truths she had been told about humanity. Suddenly, the piercing sound of two individuals engaged in a heated argument caught her attention. Peeking around the corner, she witnessed a torrent of unimaginably cruel words being hurled between them. The shouting escalated, reaching a crescendo before one of them stormed off, leaving the other person in tears. This sight struck a chord within Celeste, for while she had never raised her voice in anger, her apathetic attitude had undoubtedly caused pain to others. The thought of making someone cry, intentionally or unintentionally, became unbearable to her. Unable to remain a passive observer, she plucked a delicate flower from the grass and gently placed it at the feet of the weeping human before silently departing. It may have been a small gesture, but it was her way of offering solace and support to someone who had been wronged.
