IVOIRE DRUMMING FESTIVAL 2019 - DRUM CAM Here is our appearance at one of the greatest African drums festival of the moment. We performed my arrangement of one of my favorite song from Chick Corea, "Space", from the album "Paint The World", recorded on drums by the great Gary Novak, who inspired me a lot for his particular sense of groove and the way he uses his technique to serve the music, not the drums. I tried to turn this beautiful original arrangement from sir Chick into a fast "Zouglou" which is an urban rhythm really popular in Abidjan, the beautiful African city where I live. Please enjoy!!!
