Second part of this space adventure. First off Ive repaired that display board after I was able to source a UCN5821 substitute- Micrel produce the MIC5821BN which is a direct replacement and its still made atm, so if you have one of these games get some ordered!
Secondly Its possible to simulate tube sensors being connected by tying some of the inputs to U8 to 5v. In the vid Ive got it set to see the lower tube sensor for coin C , and the 9002 error doesnt show up. Error 1100 is no coin acceptor fitted, I will figure a way round that at some point.
Again cant run for very long because the power board regulators try to barbeque the table!!
