The SpaceX Draco is a hypergolic liquid rocket engine designed and built by SpaceX for use in their space capsules. Two engine types have been built to date: Draco and SuperDraco.
The original Draco thruster is a small rocket engine for use on the Dragon spacecraft.
The Dragon spacecraft is equipped with sixteen Draco thrusters used to orient the spacecraft during the mission, including apogee/perigee maneuvers, orbit adjustment and attitude control. Each Draco thruster is capable of generating 400 newtons (90 pounds-force) in the vacuum of space.
