This workshop aims to introduce participants to one of the most used technologies in the realm of Big Data - Apache Spark. We will cover what Spark is, how it works, why it is so useful, all while working through a hands-on activity to allow participants to get their hands dirty with Apache Spark, and explore what it has to offer. The Apache Spark framework will be used with the Python programming language (PySpark).
