Splash Screen in Project J2EE

What is Splash Screen? First screen or we can say that Welcome Screen in our project known as splash screen. In this screen we take title of project, address,logo, images, current date and time of any firm, institution,organization, shop, agency and company...etc., and take two main control that time and progressBar control. What is project? Project mean collection of different types of modules.
