Just a quick look at my grandpa's sporterized K98. from what my dad told me grandpa did the woodwork on this rifle. It has been in my family for a long time. The 8mm cartridge just doesn't do it for me and I've considered reboring it to 35 Whelen. would probably be under $300 and give me a cartridge to play with that interests me more. What say you all!!!
