The SprintEasy measuring station records the current stylus wear and makes this information available to the HelioKlischograph. The repeat accuracy of cylinder engraving is thus assured, even with a highly worn stylus. Another advantage is that slide shoe setting can be performed very quickly and accurately outside the HelioKlischograph and there is no longer any need for “scratch tests” on a test cylinder.
