In this demo we're going to show a performance comparison between Classic and In-Memory for the pattern known as the "landing pad" or "shock absorber". Basically, taking a large amount of data (3 million records on a 200MB CSV file in this case) and comparing the behavior and speed when inserting into a normal disk-based table and a new memory-optimized table. This is a very useful pattern that you can apply immediately on your ETL process and get speed gains from In-Memory OLTP. See the video for the details! And as usual, check out more at SqlTurbo.Com.
