SQL Server 2022 Parameter Sensitive Plan Optimization

Data Saturday #22 Parma 2022: Parameter Sensitive Plan (PSP) Optimization is one of the new features of SQL Server 2022 and it is part of the family features known as Intelligent Query Processing that improve the performance of existing workloads without changes to the application code. This session will describe the execution plan saving and re-using mechanism, the Parameter Sniffing behavior and the complete functioning of Parameter Sensitive Plan Optimization that improves the performance of parameterized queries on non-uniform data distributions.
