The CR2 lithium battery in the ST01 Series In-Wall Timer provides over two years of memory backup. If the time isn’t appearing on the display, it’s most likely time to change the battery! This video shows you how easy it is to replace the battery in your ST01 timer.
To change the battery:
1. Use a flat blade screwdriver to open up the timer’s trap door.
2. Put the flat blade into the slot at the top of the battery tray to gently pry open the access door. The tray will pop loose.
3. Pop out the battery.
4. Put the flat end of the new CR2 battery into the narrow end of the tray.
5. Slide the battery tray back into the timer.
6. Shut the trap door and you should see the display turn ON again.
