the bladestabs are there for the derps:) if you saw the whole 'strafe behind+backpedal' thing that was going on here good for you :3. stairs work differently from corners. people ALWAYS back away from a stairstab when they see it.-making the recognition not that important. they only turn around and keep running up in two specific cases: -when they were too late to react and youre already over them. -when you make it safe for them to think they can get up the stairs without getting stabbed. the stab when you jump in place and they turn around started out as a gag but im starting to see that it has alot of potential. you have to use it like c2c(2). (this is different from a matador on a heavys head). in many instances of corner staircases this'll work well, -when people are sticking their backs to the wall and letting you fail the stairstab while climbing the stairs. theyre pretty much taking the corner wide. you have to to make it obvious that youre going to jump, AND away from the wall to make them believe they can do this.like i did on the long stairs in neucleus many times in this video then, instead of jumping for the stairstab you can go for this. when people are turning around theyre also pushing the strafe key, meaning that if you jump in place they go around you. you have to jump in place and slightly to the side. if you dont know wich direction theyll go around from youre screwd because you dont know wich side to jump to, but again if you make it obvious wich side they should do it from with a wall all will be well. (dont just strafe from side to side and jump randomally like i did on the viaduct clip with the kunai. that guy was trying to use the wall on the left to move around the stairs but i didnt let him, almost causing me to lose the stab). 1.get on a staircase with a wall on one side 2.make them think that youre going to jump far away from wall 3.jump sideways (sometimes forwards too when youre far away) ,wait for them to turn and stab. i think the neucleus clips and the clip on badlands are the ones that explain this best. the backpedall version of this from the start worked out very well, before backing up they have to go forwards at some point, when that happens you just jump as far down as you possibly can down the stairs without paying any attention to where the guy is, and when you land quickly run forwards into his back and stab him as he backs up (sometimes you have to run forwards and it feels kinda different from a backpedal stab on the ground). both stabs are overall pretty derpy and expirimental, but ive been getting some really good players with it. sometimes its the only thing the guy would fall for, so i'd suggest giving it a few tries;)) the bladestabs are again there for the derps:) allright this is it for this desc, working on the cirlcestrafing tutorial, hoping i finish it in time before my next semester:\
