Star Fox Gameplay Prototype in the Unity Engine

I worked on this project for a few months over the summer after being inspired by a Mix & Jam video about the rail shooter gameplay of Star Fox.It took a long time to figure out what I needed to do in order for the camera to look right and for aiming to work in a similar fashion to Star Fox 64. Nintendo really put a lot of effort into things that you wouldn't normally notice. It was very interesting to dive deep into the game and figure out why Star Fox 64 feels so good to play then try to mimic those things in my recreation.
