Dawn comes with a chorus... of doom! I am your scribe and I live for the sunrise, shaking off shapes of the night as I polish my Colt .45 and pray to the unending... uncertainty! My houndstooth yearns to pierce the meat of the day; to tear from the bone some semblance of meaning as I fly over man's dominion... on Red Wings! So here I stand A prophet of Ennui draped in the glories of mind, spangled with dissent, and demanding of ears... to hear my rage! So I dance, so I dance, and the dance is a trope The scene is a tragedy turned comic passed from the quills of Shakespeare to Pope. The stage is the Empire of Linguistic Decay where the actors are sinners in demon masks. They charge forth towards false hope, brandishing gadgets that sap their innovation, into the cesspool of the commonplace. The audience erupts in applause, their roars drown out my despair... but I keep dancing! So you'll be my dawn and I'll be your pen and together we will forge the Kingdom of Inner Peace disguised as a sword... pommelled with gloom! I parted the seas of pedestrian noise. I led my tribe on the backs of hyenas through the savage wastelands... of indifference! Now here I stand, the voice of the voiceless, the madman in geek chic who vents his frustrations in sardonic iambs... to the sky! And here you stand, my leonine muse; towering, hulking, divine, impeccably harrowing, with a face like a war crime... and burning ruby eyes! And I, in the twilight, put down my sword, cast off my armor, set aside my fury; and I wait... for the dawn! and I howl... for the dawn!
