Starflake - Sections 1 & 2

Use this video to assist with Section 1 and Section 2 of the Starflake shawl. SECTION 1 Parallelogram 1 0:46 Cast on 3 sts 2:18 Next Row (WS): Pick up and k3 sts from the I-cord CO edge. 3:39 Binding off at the end of Parallelogram 1 Paralellogram 2 4:48 Using CC, bind off the last st using I-cord BO. 5:09 (pick up and k3, m1) along the I-cord edge of Parallelogram 1 6:12 Next Row (WS): Pick up and k3 sts from the MC I-cord edge. Parallelogram 3 7:30 (pick up and k3, m1) along Parallelogram 2 edge followed by picking up 3 sts on the WS. Parallelogram 6 9:10 Section 1 Complete. Graft the final 6 sts together using Kitchener stitch. 11:13 weaving in ends SECTION 2 11:46 Picking up sts starting at the top right corner of Parallelogram 1 12:57 pick up and k24 sts along Parallelogram 1 I-cord edge, pm. 13:43 (Pick up and k3, m1) 6 times along left edge of Parallelogram 2, pm. 15:23 completed picked up edge 15:58 Row 2 (WS) Pick up and k3 sts from the I-cord corner of Parallelogram 6.
