Start the Ram Pump for 2021

The Hydraulic Ram Pump has been dormant all winter long and its time to start it up for the 2021 season of ram pump testing. I walk through the screen intake and dig that out from all the silt. Next I purge the air out of the supply line by picking it up and setting it down quickly. I drain the silt out of the filter bucket and get clean water filling that back up. I get the drive pipe full of water and start the ram pump cycling. Lastly I walk the delivery pipe to make sure that the water is getting to the top of the hill.
