i don’t call it honest, just what i ended up in a life too real, with no way to trim every corner’s sharper than it should be nothing here lets me just be can’t clean it up, it won’t come off truth sits heavy, bitter and rough every step feels slightly misaligned like i woke up a second behind yeah, i’m tired of this, nasty nothing here ever asked me i didn’t choose where this would go it just kept pulling me below “for the dead, a bouquet” i heard it somewhere, couldn’t say too many colors, none would stay so i let them fade to gray and in the quiet, almost lost white cosmos, soft and crossed not what i chose, just what was there still… it felt like something spared didn’t fix it, just left it nasty but it held its shape, just past me in a world that slips and blurs this small flower stayed hands off, i let it stay nasty couldn’t clean what i became still it held a name breath slow, everything collapsing in the blur, it all was saved just that flower stayed
