I can't believe The Fosters is (basically) over. I know that we have the final three episodes in June and then the spin-offs but it still feels final. The double bill that aired this week completely ruined me. I laughed, I cried, I smiled, I got angry. It made me feel all sorts of emotions - the majority of them having to do with AdamsFoster, the most beautiful of all The Fosters ships. And that's a fact. When the episodes started and everything was so angsty, I dared to allow myself to think that they would end the show with Stef and Lena split up and then I was terrified. But they worked through their problems. As they always do. As they always have. They came out stronger and even more beautiful, and I didn't think that was even possible, than before. They really are THE ship. Stef and Lena will always be so important to me. They showed me that love can be found, even after hiding under false pretenses. This show was there for me when I was coming out and the fact that it's nearly over forever breaks my heart. But, that being said, I'm so glad that we got the five seasons that we did. But I'm even more glad that I got to find this show and fall in love with it. The Fosters really is the little show that can, could and did.
