Still Here was written from a moment I never expected to reach. I am now the same age my father was when he died—53—and I am still here. His life ended young. And standing at this age now has given me a deeper awareness of both loss and grace. I am still young enough to begin again, to rebuild, to reimagine what this next chapter can be. That realization carries both weight and wonder. This song is about living in that space with gratitude. About recognizing what a profound blessing it is to still be alive, still becoming, still rising after everything that had to fall away.
