Welcome to the French Knots stitch tutorial! French knots are often feared and avoided in embroidery projects because they can be just a tad tricky! But, fear "knot"... see what I did there?!
French knots do require some patience, and lots and lots of practice to get the hang of. But, they are one of the BEST stitches for texture, definition, a 3D look and so much more in hand embroidery.
Today I'm sharing the basics of 1,2, and 3 wrap French knots, how to cluster French knots together to fill in a shape and how to build upon your French knots to make them stand out even more!
