"EQ Sweeping" has been a trendy "technique" among some voiceover engineers lately. Some even claim it's a "scientific" way to make your voice sound better (by turning up some frequencies in your voice and turning down others). But there are serious issues with this: Firstly, it's not scientific at all, because every piece of audio software uses DIFFERENT EQ math, and each playback system will play your audio differently...making it impossible to produce consistent results with EQ Sweeping, and risking that it will actually make you sound worse.
