STOP FIRE SPREAD: Good morning and a warm welcome to all participants joining us from across India and beyond. The webinar is focused on understanding how advanced fire-retardant and fire-resistant coatings can save lives, assets, and buildings. Every year, India records over 1.5 lakh fire accidents, leading to more than 27,000 deaths and thousands of injuries. Just recently, a tragic bus fire in AP / Rajasthan claimed over twenty-five lives a painful reminder that fire safety cannot be an afterthought. The reality is clear: most fire incidents turn deadly not because of flames, but because of smoke, collapse, and the lack of adequate passive fire protection. This is where tested, certified, and proven fire-resistant coatings play a life-saving role. Choosing the wrong paint or coating is not a cosmetic error it’s a serious safety risk. Every surface that comes into contact with electricity, wiring, or heat such as electrical panels, MCB boxes, cable trays, wooden finishes, ducts, and partitions, must be treated with fire-retardant coatings instead of decorative paints.
