Excited, I rushed to GitHub only to find it hadn't been updated in six years. That discovery sparked something. Six years ago, I also built an export helper addon for my modular workflow. It was well-received but a bit niche for most users. After seeing Embark's abandoned project, I dove into their code to see what they'd done back in Blender 2.8, then spent a week tearing apart my old project and rebuilding it for Blender 5. Export Helper Pro is a handy N-panel export tab that lets you export from Blender in FBX, GLTF, or OBJ formats. Whether you want to export just your selection, a specific collection, or everything at once, this addon handles it. It's particularly useful for game developers getting assets into Unity, Unreal, or Godot. The addon includes options to center origins before export, convert viewport colors to materials, include armatures for animated rigs, and embed textures into your GLTF or FBX files.
