What is Pla-Plating?
In the world of model building, pla-plating is the process of adding thin sheets of plastic (polystyrene) to your kit to build up its surface.
Think of it as "Plus" detailing. While scribing is "minus" (removing plastic to create recessed panel lines), pla-plating is "plus" (adding material to create volume).
