I can't scream this loud enough! Stop scruffing cats!!
For those of you who still believe this is an effective restraint method, I get it. It's what you were taught and what you have used for years. I graduated from college in the 90s and scruffing cats was THE way to restrain cats. But we are no longer in the 90s. We are in the 21st century and thanks to studies and a better understanding of feline behavior we now know that scruffing cat causes fear, pain and aggression. Stop Scruffing Cats!!
