Storm growling before and after correcting

Many people are falsely told that you should not punish a dog for aggressive behavior, and that doing so will make the behavior worse. Storm here, although a puppy, came in with some pretty nasty behaviors. She was growling anytime I approached, and when we first worked together she would lunge and attempt to bite. She received some high-level corrections for these behaviors, which put an immediate stop to them. Then we were able to begin truly building up our relationship and working with each other in a healthy way. Corrections don't make dogs aggressive...they establish necessary boundaries for you to have a healthy relationship!
