The exhibit demonstrates the difference in stormwater runoff volume between rural and developed landscapes, with and without best management practices installed. Participants turn the crank to make it rain and swap out good and bad landscapes to observe differences in infiltration and runoff volume. The display components collapse into a large metal box, which is designed to fit in a car (such as Angie’s Prius!) for easy transport.
