Straight Shooters (sample)

Made for INHSU 2017 Conference in NY as a means for an honest dialogue between people who inject drugs and people who are curious about people who inject drugs. An opportunity for education and information sharing- The public were asked to send in ANY questions they had for someone who injects drugs. A range of questions from people of all ages and backgrounds poured in. These are only the tip of the iceberg. 'Straight Shooters' was inspired by the Australian ABC web series 'You Can't Ask That'. Please note- we didnt just allow any injector to 'Out' themselves on the world wide web or in person. It is a HUGE ask to ask somebody to admit to the world that they use an illicit substance on the regular and the panelists-myself included, had some very strict criteria to adhere to to take part- ie.we couldnt have children under 18, we had to be older than 30 and be aware of - present or possibly future risks- ie. work, family etc due to our disclosure.
