"AM I MAKING YOU FEEL SICK?" Cannibalism as a metaphor for love! Desire as all-encompassing! Toxic relationships abound! This is definitely a bit of a mish-mash of an edit, but I adore this song by Ethel Cain and thought it would work so well with some cannibalism-based media. I ended up opening it out a bit more, so it's not just cannibalistic shows, but also vampiric and parasitic - looking at the dark underbelly of love (whether it be familial, platonic or romantic). Lots of queer stories fit into this narrative (I mean, they are the best stories!), so there's lots of toxic mlm and wlw representation here! I hope you enjoyed this strange, bloody little edit!
