Street Requiem

For those who have died on the streets. Composed in 2014 by Kathleen McGuire, Andy Payne, and Jonathon Welch. Conducted by Derek Tam with Molly Mahoney, Mezzo-soprano, and Brian Thorsett, Tenor. Performed on August 25, 2018 at First Church Berkeley as a fundraiser for the Berkeley Women's Daytime Drop-in Center. Sponsored by the Arlene Sagan Memorial Fund, Berkeley Community Chorus & Orchestra (BCCO); First Church Berkeley, Berkeley Women’s Community Chorus, and Ina Lawrence Fund, St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, Albany The Street Requiem Chorus is composed of singers from Albany Community Chorus, Berkeley Community Chorus, Berkeley Women’s Community Chorus, Contra Costa Chorale, First Church Berkeley, Mills Grove Christian Church (DOC), Oakland Interfaith Community Choir, San Francisco Choral Society, WAVE (Women’s Antique Vocal Ensemble).
