Strength & Resolve for Wind Ensemble

"Strength and Resolve" is a 9+ minute wind ensemble piece, which was premiered by the Gustavus Adolphus College (St. Peter, MN) Wind Orchestra in March of 2024. This composition is dedicated to the People of Ukraine and evokes my memories of being there with the U of Iowa Symphony Band on a US State Dept. tour in 1966... wonderful people, lovers of art and music and living in peace. You'll hear varieties of emotions and perhaps some of the struggles they are now experiencing ending peacefully. A portion of the sales of this piece will go to a non-profit organization called the Global Synergy Group which has programs that support the Ukrainian people.
