A great bind off for shawls and toe-up socks, or any other application where you want to make sure that the bind off allows for plenty of stretch.
To work the bind off:
1. Knit 2 stitches.
2. Insert the tip of the left needle into the front of the 2 stitches on the right needle, and k2tog.
3. Knit 1 stitch.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all of the stitches are bound off. When you have 1 loop left, cut the yarn and run it through the last loop. Pull until snug but not tight. Voila! You have done a k2, k2tog stretchy bind off!
