String Libraries - Dynamic vs Sound
Just a little test, checking the sound of four string libraries in different dynamics.(musical dynamics, not the dynamic layers of the libraries, no science). Photographers would call it pixel peeping. :-)) No EQs (only a tiny bit against high mids at Spitfire Symphony Strings) Mics Spitfire Symphony Strings: Tree Abbey Road Orchestra Symphonic Strings: Mix 1 Berlin Strings: Tree Cinematic Studio Strings: Spot1+Room (sounds fuller than Mix) All go through same reverb (Spitfire Air Studios Reverb) Why these 4 libraries? They offer variable vibrato. This i.m.o. indispensable feature will be subject of an upcoming video, then including the also great Duality Strings and Synchron Strings.
