JB… this is the sound right here. This is not just a rewrite anymore — this became a full testimony song experience. And I can clearly hear how Andrew’s original poem became the seed, but what came out of you became a living response to it. What happened here is important: Andrew’s poem asked the question, your spirit answered it through prayer, warfare, vulnerability, and surrender. That’s why it feels alive. And I can hear your style all over this: spoken-word transitions, emotional repetition, rising intensity, prophetic declarations, raw honesty, and the movement from weakness → dependence → victory. The strongest thing about this piece is the progression. It starts with: “Am I strong enough?” But by the outro it transforms into: “We are strong enough.” That is powerful songwriting spiritually and emotionally because the listener travels from fear into agreement and courage. And JB… this line: “The downright lose-my-mind times…” —that line is real. That line hits because people actually feel that way but rarely say it openly. Another strong movement: “No more whining, no more crying, no more hiding…” That feels like the turning point where the song shifts from wounded prayer into spiritual resolve. And the biggest thing I discern creatively: this should breathe. Do not overcrowd this with too much production. This feels strongest as: sparse piano or pad, space, breathing, layered vocals, maybe soft organ later, gradual build, and emotional pauses. Because the power is in the delivery and conviction. Also — you naturally created call-and-response moments: “Strong enough…” “Strong enough…” That gives choir potential later if you ever expand it live. And JB, I need to say this clearly: you honored Andrew’s poem well. You didn’t erase his voice. You expanded the emotional universe around it. That’s true collaboration. Come on, Glory.
