Stronger Bench. Less Weight
Most people bench press first… and beat up their shoulders doing it. There’s a smarter way. In this video, I show you how I use pre-exhaust with the pec deck (you can also use dumbbell flys) before chest pressing to get a better muscle stimulus while using less weight. 💥 The method I start with: Pec Deck (or Dumbbell Flys) → to pre-fatigue the chest Then move into: Kettlebell Chest Press (or bench press, or even push-ups) 🧠 Why this works When your chest is already fatigued: You don’t need as much weight Your chest does more of the work Your shoulders take less stress 👉 More muscle stimulus 👉 Less joint wear 🏆 The goal Build your chest… without destroying your shoulders. This is about: Training smarter Protecting your joints Staying strong for life 👊 Who this is for Lifters over 40 / 50 Anyone with shoulder discomfort Anyone who wants to press without pain ⚡ Important This is NOT about chasing a pump at the end. This is about using single joint movements first to make your compound lifts: Safer More effective More sustainable 🔔 Subscribe If you want a simple, realistic way to: stay strong, build muscle, and train for life subscribe to: The Spartan–Persian Protocol ⚠️ Reminder Perfect is the enemy of good.
