A structured or Mapped mesh is generated on a cylinder. The cylinder is sliced or partitioned to form solids which are six sides. Each solid is then suitable for a mapped mesh. A mapped mesh is forced by using multizone method. This method can be used to mesh extruded bodies need not be perfect cylindrical.
