This was our first time ever mixing together, and my first time using the RMX-1000, so nothing about this set was planned. This was interesting for us since we were figuring out each other’s style, testing transitions, and learning the flow as we went. There are a few mixes that aren't the best, but that’s part of what makes it authentic.
This is the first set of my Study Sessions series. Most of these will be recorded in my room at my fraternity, laid-back, unfiltered sets you can throw on in the background while you work, study, or just zone out.
Next up: “Study Sessions by AUSTEN: Kettama” — a set inspired by Kettama’s sound and mixing style. If there are artists you want me to build a session around, drop them in the comments.
