A dance Subli was originated some 300 years ago in the barrio of Dingin, Alitagtag Batangas, according to research made by Dr. Elena Mirano, subli came from old Tagalog “sobli” means salisi. This dance is of dovitio. Performed in honor of Mahal ng Poong Santa Cruz. The dancers of Subli were the students of Lpu Batangas.
