This chapter deals with the design of Subsystems such as Parity Generator, Multiplexer, Programmable Logic Arrays, Shifters and Adders from which larger systems can be composed. Switch logic based on Pass Transistor or Transmission Gate and Gate logic based on different forms of CMOS or Restoring Logic can be used to design circuits.
