In her interview with Archives of IT (AIT) in 2017, Sue Black OBE talks about how, in 2008, anger and frustration led her to spearhead a campaign to save Bletchley Park, the birthplace of modern computing and home of the WWII codebreakers.
At the time Bletchley Park was falling into disrepair through lack of funding and risked being forgotten, so she launched a campaign through blogs, social media, national press coverage and grassroots activism, especially led by women. Following three years' fighting for the cause she managed to save what is now a globally important cultural attraction.
