This is a pattern I saw on Tim Flagler’s Tightlines channel that has worked really well for me.
Hook: Size 14 jig hook.
Bead: Gold 3mm slotted tungsten bead.
Thread: Danville’s 6/0 yellow.
Tail: Wood duck flank fibers.
Body: Tying thread over-wrapped sparsely with amber or rust Antron yarn.
Thorax: Tying thread with a black UV resin wing case.
Coat the entire body with clear resin (I use UV Craft).
