Summit Broken Top, Oregon

In this video we go to the summit of Broken Top. This is a 9,177 foot peak in the cascades. It is right by the Three Sisters. This is one of the more difficult summit climbs I have done. I would say this is similar in difficulty to Mount Thielsen. It is a hike until the final part with a 20 foot vertical climb. The climbing knots used here were a prusik to go up, and an autoblock to rappel. Thanks to the climbing crew that went with me. Bunch of great people and wilderness lovers.
